Parametrically enhanced bandpass filters

چکیده

This paper proposes a technique to enhance the quality factor (Q) of resonator, which can then be used realise bandpass filters (BPFs) with reduced insertion loss (IL) and improved passband selectivity. The main idea behind this is introduce negative resistance through parametric amplification effect, compensate losses from non-ideal passive components (e.g. capacitors, inductors, microstrips). Two enhanced by such resonators are designed realised on printed-circuit boards (PCBs) demonstrate characteristics low good In addition, these prototype parametrically offer reasonably linearity similar noise figures (NFs) their corresponding pure counterparts.
